What you should expect when you arrive to “CHECK IN” your vehicle
Customer Check-in Process
The check-in appointment is a crucial 3 –phase process that takes place BEFORE your vehicle goes into the shop for service. This process is used to diagnose your vehicle’s needs so that you get the best service possible!
Step 1: Arrive at our dealership’s Service Drive Thru as close as possible to your appointment time.
Why: If you arrive early, you may have to wait for an available Service Advisor. Arriving late may result in a delay.
Step 2: Proceed directly into our newly renovated Service Drive Thru, where you will be greeted by our service staff.
How: Pay attention to the directional red and green lights as you approach the Service Drive Thru. The Service Bay doors will automatically open when you are within 2 feet of the doors when the green lights are on.
Step 1: Provide your appointment information to the service staff.
Step 2: Your Service Advisor will review all relevant contact information that you have provided so that we can follow-up with you throughout the repair process.
Step 3: Your Service Advisor will access the Ford Information system to obtain service information for your vehicle model, including any available Ford Motor Company Recall Information.
Step 1: Our dealership tops up your vehicle’s windshield washer jug. We also install protective floor mats and seat covers.
Step 2: We walk around your vehicle to access the condition of your windshield wipers, tire condition, current mileage, and general vehicle condition. If needed, will ask if you would like to take advantage of our complimentary tire alignment check and report.
Step 3: Generally, you will be offered a complimentary vehicle exterior wash. Your keys are tagged appropriately.
Step 4: If your wheels need to be removed during your service visit, please place the special lock key in your cup holder.
Step 1: Your Service Advisor will determine which factory-trained Technician is best suited to diagnose and carry out the appropriate repairs on your vehicle.
Step 2: A repair timeframe is established, allowing us to determine an approximate timeframe your vehicle can be assigned to begin repairs.
Note: Vehicles go into the shop based on your technician’s availability, NOT immediately after your check-in appointment.
