Checking In With Service
What you should expect when you arrive to “CHECK IN” your vehicle
After you have confirmed your “Check In” time, please arrive in our Service Drive Thru as
close to your “Check In” time as possible. An early arrival may result in you having to wait for an
available Service Advisor, conversely arriving late may result in a delay. As you approach the
Service Drive Thru Entrance please pay particular attention to the directional Red and Green
Lights. The Service Bay doors will automatically open when you are within 2 feet of the doors
when the Green lights are on. Please proceed directly into our newly renovated Service Drive
Thru where you will be greeted by our service staff.
During the first phase of the “Check In” process we will review all relevant information provided
by you during your initial request. We will ensure all information is
accurate and correctly documented. Up to date contact numbers and email information will
allow us to confirm which follow up method works best for you in order to contact you as
required throughout the repair process. At this time the Ford Information system will also be
accessed to obtain specific service information including any available Ford Motor Company
Recall Information for your Ford vehicle.
The second phase of our “Check In” process includes topping up your windshield washer jug,
installing protective floor mats and seat covers. A walk around your vehicle will include the
condition of your windshield wipers, tire condition, current mileage and general vehicle
condition. If your tires are showing any signs of irregular wear, we will ask if you would like to
take advantage of our complimentary alignment check and report. Generally we offer a
complimentary vehicle exterior wash, you will be asked at this time if you would like to take
advantage of this free service and tag your keys appropriately. If you recognize the fact your
wheels will be removed during your service visit we ask that you have the special lock key
placed in your cup holder to avoid having our technicians search for your wheel lock key.
The last part of your “Check In” determines which department and which factory Trained
Technician will be best suited to diagnose and carry out the appropriate repairs to your vehicle.
This decision will be based on your conversation with your Service Advisor during the early
portion of the “Check In” phase. Once assigned to our technical staff a repair time frame will be
established allowing us to determine an approximate timeframe your vehicle will be assigned to
